Join Friends of the Reedy River and Greenville County Litter Ends Here for our Third Annual Polar Pickup in January 2027! This month-long cleanup initiative makes it easy for all our Reedy River Watershed neighbors to get involved and protect our local waterways.

We know that water quality and litter are issues that often hit close to home. That’s why we’re inviting you to help clean up the spots you notice every day—right in your local community. Our goal is to intercept litter on land before it travels to the Reedy River, where it becomes harder to remove and a greater threat to water quality.

We’ll deliver all the supplies—safety vests, gloves, pickup sticks, and bags—straight to your door for free. Once you’re finished, we will pick up your bags and any large items (like tires), so you don’t have to worry about hauling or disposing of the litter you collect!

**Please note, this is NOT an in-water cleanup.
