Summer Gagnon is the Litter Prevention Coordinator for Greenville County’s Litter Ends Here program. She has helped lead this multifaceted litter program towards the goal of creating a litter-free county.

Justin is the Community Relations Specialist for the City of Simpsonville since 2018. Prior to his current role, Justin was a staff writer at The Seneca Journal and covered local government, crime, education and community issues.

Kendall is the Stormwater Programs Coordinator for Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District. She bringing nearly ten years of experience in environmental education from North Carolina and Virginia.. As a South Carolina native, She may be spotted indoor climbing, on the hiking trails, at the river with her Daisy Scout, or working on her dual graduate degree.

Taylor Talbot is the Programs and Engagement Manager for the City of Greenville's Public Works Department. She is driven by her passion for public service and creating meaningful, lasting connections within the Greenville community and beyond. In her free time, you can find her on the sidelines coaching Little League cheerleading or hanging out at local spots with her dog, boyfriend, and friends.

Heather Freeborn serves as a Recreation Coordinator for the City of Greer. With over 15 years of experience in recreation, she is dedicated to promoting sustainability, enhancing community involvement, and developing healthier, greener environments for all.

Matt Barber is the Community Compliance Manager for the City of Greer, a role he began in August 2026. With more than 15 years of experience working with local governments and nonprofits, Matt works with city staff and the community to promote compliance with local ordinances. He is passionate about preserving the beauty of nature and strengthening the communities we all call home. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, reading and writing, and playing chess.

Willie is the Assistant Director of Recreation for the City of Mauldin. He has been with the City of Mauldin for 10 years. He assist in overseeing the Mauldin Sports Center, Athletics, and Mauldin Senior Center divisions within the Mauldin Recreation Department.

Renae is the Mauldin Sports Center Coordinator and is responsible for marketing & membership. A Minnesota native, she now calls Greenville home.

Charlene works on Special Projects and as a City planner for the City of Simpsonville. She has 15 years of government experience and is passionate about community and public services. As a new member, she plans to support the initiatives to keep Greenville County Beautiful where she lives, works and plays!

Jay Martin has served as the Planning Director for the City of Travelers Rest since May 2024, bringing extensive experience from his prior career as a Landscape Architect and shareholder at Arbor Land Design, LLC. A Clemson University graduate, Jay has a long history of civic leadership, having served on the boards of TreesUpstate, the Clemson Architectural Foundation, Kiwanis of Greenville, and SAIL. His background in thoughtful design, community service, and environmental stewardship strongly aligns with the mission of Keep Greenville County Beautiful.
